Virginia Wade Abercrombie Hefley, 82 of Bardwell, KY and formerly of Cairo, IL passed away at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Lourdes Hospital.
Mrs. Hefley was retired from AT&T and of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by one sister Norma Pickett of Denver, CO; nieces Susan Bateman Middleton of Denver, CO, Pat Rutherford of Holly Springs, MS, Angie Wade Chism of Memphis, TN, Barbara Bourne of FL, and Len Rawlings of Paducah, KY; nephews David Bateman of Denver, CO, Alton W. Wade of Byhalia, MS, Alan E. Wade of Hernando, MS, and Jessee Wade; and special friends Betty Owens of Bardwell, KY, Shirley Keith of Cairo, IL, and Tracey Shuecraft of Livingston Co, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Cyrille Abercrombie, Bobby Hefley; parents Willie Edward and Cora Sandifer Wade; four brothers Alton Wade, Doyle Wade, Ty Wade, and Weldon Glenn Wade; and one niece Sandra Wade Spencer.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Roselawn Cemetery, Bardwell, KY with Rev. Mark Sickling officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
Honorary Pallbearers are Tracey Shuecraft, Sammy Todd, Chris Rawlings, and Jason Rawlings.
