She had lived in Lee County Va. most of her life.
Betty Jo was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard W. and Eva Estell Belcher, two sisters, Carol Belcher and Alice Adams, one brother, Ray Belcher and one nephew, James Benji Adams.
Betty Jo is survived by one sister, Kitty Roberts of Dryden, Va., nieces, Karen Maggard of Dryden, Va. and Lisa Hughes of Prattville, Al., nephews, Keith Adams and Richard Adams of the Big Hill Community and Steve Belcher of Georgia and one sister-in-law, Sue Belcher of Prattville, Al.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, Va.
The graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, Va. with Rev. Bill Posey officiating.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 AM Saturday for the service.
Province Funeral Home of 42098 E. Morgan Ave. Pennington Gap, Va. 24277 is in charge of the arrangements.
