Patrick Kane Dead

Patrick Kane, who was living in the building west of The Observer office, was found dead in his bed Tuesday. Mr. Kane was seen on the street Monday in apparently his usual health, Tuesday shortly after dinner, L.J. Revheim went into his room to speak to him and found him.
Dr. Embree was called, who pronounced him dead. Being all alone at time of death Coroner Smith was notified, who came, but did not hold a formal inquest, because all evidence pointed to a natural death presumably from heart failure.

Deceased was about 70 years old and for a couple of years had lived alone. He was a quiet man, well liked by all who knew him and was always ready to lend assistance.

He leaves three brothers and two sisters, George Kane and Mrs. Bridgitt Reefe of Creighton, Nebraska; Philip Kane of Sheridan, Wyo.; Matt Kane of Arizona and Mrs. Lizzie Goetz of Hartington, Nebraska.

Relatives arrived Wednesday and the remains were taken to Yankton, where burial was made.--Gayville, (S.D.) Observer.

**He was not married and had no children.
