Former Dallas resident Bette Bettison Sharp will be buried during a private service Saturday at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
Mrs. Sharp, 77, died June 8 of Alzheimer's disease at University Hospital in San Antonio. A funeral was June 11 at Jefferson United Methodist Church in San Antonio.
Born in Dallas, Mrs. Sharp graduated from Highland Park High School in 1939 and made her debut at the Idlewild Ball in 1941, friends said. She later married and moved to San Antonio, where she volunteered at Jefferson United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Sharp is survived by daughter Sandy Brieden of Bulverde, Texas; sons Dan Sharp of Houston and David Sharp of San Antonio; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
