Deceased Name: Francis "Bud' Wheeler
Francis "Bud" Wheeler of Franktown, a dairy farmer, died Monday at home. He was 85.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Franktown Cemetery.

He was born July 24, 1915, in Franktown. On Oct. 7, 1937, he married Louise Marte in Littleton. She died in 1998.

He ran a dairy, raised hogs and chickens, and farmed east of Franktown. He also drilled water wells around the county.

He was a member of Pikes Peak Grange for 50 years. His interests included hunting, fishing and reading.

He is survived by a sister, Doris Johnston, Castle Rock; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
