Irma Sebjanics Abruzere, age 96, of Sanford, NC and formerly of Allentown, PA passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home, Sanford, NC.
Graveside rites will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg with Sonya Williams-Giersch, A.I.M. officiating.
Mrs. Abruzere was born June 21, 1914 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Tremlin Sebjanics. She was a homemaker, a member of St. John Windish Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, PA and the wife of the late Frank Abruzere.
Surviving are two daughters, Delores L. Baush and husband, Bill of Fayetteville, NC and Marie T. Martin of Sanford, NC; three sons, Ralph F. Abruzere and wife, Marge of Manassas, VA, Eugene L. Abruzere and wife, Darlene of Lower Burrell, PA and Richard A. Abruzere and wife, Gwen of Strasburg, VA; her sister, Helen McCarney of Worchester, PA; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Sebjanics, a sister, Theresa Bellizzi, a grandson, Mark Baush and son-in-law, Harold "Bud" Baush.
Pallbearers will be Jason Abruzere, Nick Abruzere, Jason Sylak, Ricci Abruzere, Christian Martin, and Todd Martin.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home, 177 No. Holliday St., Strasburg, on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 P.M. and will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday.
