Wilhelm Marius Aabel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Aabel, was born in Minden Febr. 13, 1893. He passed away at his home in Minden Tuesday evening, March 6.
He was united in marriage to Mabel Nelson on Nov. 20, 1935.
Mr. Aabel was preceded in death by his daughter, Jean Escobar and his father and mother, Christian and Minnie Aabel.
Surviving him are his wife, Mabel, a daughter, Jane Broeren, Independence, Ore., one sister, Mrs. May A. Runquist, Minden, two brothers, Bart, Minden, and Lloyd of Phillipsburg, Kans., three grandchildren and a nephew, Hodge Aabel.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, March 10, at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ralph Hamilton of Kearney officiating. Interment was in the Minden Cemetery.
The Layton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
