DIED. - At his residence in Caney, Kansas, of Bright's disease, Mr. Ezekiel Abbott, aged 67 years, months, 25 days. Mr. Abbott, son of Jonathan Abbott, was born in Chatham, Ohio, Julv 13. 1826. He was married . to Miss Eleanor Reed. October 18, 1855, and since that time they have lived in happy union, and during his years of affliction his wife has been his loving companion and never failing comforter. Two sons blessed their union who have always been devoted to the interests of the family. Suffering from brights disease he left his home in Delaware, Ohio, eight years ago for California, in search of health, but being disappointed, came to Kansas and located at Oatville, Sedgewick county, where he lived until three years ago, when he removed to this city. Since his residence here his life has been nearly gone several times, but rallying from the severe attacks he lived to see the close of the old year and the dawn of the new. Under the pastorate of Rev. W. Paul, he united with the M. E. church at Rednor, Ohio, in 1857, to which he has been faithful to the end. The funeral took place Tuesday from the family residence, Rev.
