Funeral services for Juel Aagren, 69, former resident of the Lostwood and Powers Lake areas, were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Springan Funeral Home in Stanley. He passed away June 29th at Stanley.
Rev. Glen Nicola of Powers Lake officiated. Interment was in the Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Powers Lake.
Special music was provided by Gordon Kvamme, soloist, with Mrs. Robert Lumley at the organ.
Pallbearers were Harold Peterson, Harold Moen, Alan Colbenson, Sanford Edwards, Warren Nelson and Gilbert Kvamrne.
He was born Dec. 11, 1908 at Fergus Falls. Minn., moving to Battleview in 1914. He had lived in the New Town Nursing Home for the past nine months.
Survivors include sisters, Cora Neunfeld. Stanley, Eva Lystad, Fergus Falls, Minn., and a brother, Herbert, Lisbon.
