Odalie Adams, a resident of Ethel, she died at 11:45 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at her daughter's home. She was 97 and a native of Woodville, Miss.

She is survived by five daughters, Martha A. Jones, Everlean Adams, Jessie Mae Hampton, Orelee Martin and Geraldine Quarles; and three sons, Joseph Adams, George Adams and Robert Adams Sr.;
35 grandchildren and 77 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Adams Sr.; and two sons, Roosevelt Adams and Henry Adams Jr.
