Priscilla was born in Chicopee, Mass., on Aug. 2, 1909, the daughter of Joseph and Adrienne (Graveline) Paquette and had been living in Rochester since 1978, moving from Boston, Mass. Prior to her retirement she worked for 25 years as a registered nurse at Mass. General Hospital in Boston. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, where she was active in the RCIA, the Stephen Ministries and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Surviving members of the family include two sons, Donald Abberton of Longwood, Fla., and Henry Abberton of Midwest City, Okla.; two daughters, Dorothy Brondson of Spring Hill, Fla., and Shirley Carriero of Rose Bay, Nova Scotia. She also leaves 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main St., Rochester, on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, followed with burial in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
