Mr. Mostrom , who had charge of burning rubbish twice daily at the dump , was discovered by Isaac Jackson, who lives nearby. It is believed he had a heart attack and fell into the burning debris.
The Rev. Thomas A. Boe will officiate at the services. Burial will be at North cemetery.
Born August 22, 1892, to Mr. and Mrs. Knut Mostrom, he attended rural schools in Worth County. H lived on the farm of his parents near Northwood until his marriage June 1, 1918 to Sarah Dolen.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran church in Lake Mills. He had been employed by the city for the last year. He also worked at the Cool Spring Canning Co. during canning season.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Gladys) Cunningham, Albert Lea, Mrs. Roy (Lorraine) Stolen, Madison, Wis; four sons, Dale and Marvill, Lake Mills, Spencer, Albert Lea, and Truman, who is attending the college of mechanical arts at Ames, Iowa.
One son died while in the armed services, Another, Virgil, Albert Lea, was killed July 4, 1952 in a two car collision.
Others surviving are two brothers, Clarence and Lewis Mostrom, Northwood, Iowa and four sisters, Mrs. A. Trenda, Mrs. Joe Aase, Wilmina, Ore., Mrs. Art Neuberg, Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Ed Anderson in Sweden.
