Mrs. Jessie E. Underwood Abell, 75, wife of Arthur Abell, died Thursday morning at her home in the Mt. Tabor section.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Rena Underwood and Mrs. Madge Handy, of Louisville, and Mrs. Dorothy Thompson, of Fairdale; three sons, Austin and E. J. Abello, of Louisville, and Matthew Abell, of Phoenix, Ariz.' several grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Benny Perkins, of near Hodgenville, and one brother, Sam Underwood, of Buffalo.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
