Melvin F. Manchester, May 4, 1933-Dec. 3, 2010, resident of Mt. View. A native of Palo Alto, Melvin lived in Mountain View for the past 46 years with wife Joan and daughters Julie and Susan. Mel served in the US Army, graduated from San Jose State, worked at Lockheed Martin for over 30 years, and is a Past Master of Mtn. View DeAnza Masonic Lodge. Melvin is survived by his wife of 48 years, daughter Susan & husband Joseph, grandchildren Juliana and David, sister Barbara and extended family. Mel was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie (1999). A memorial service will be held on Weds. Dec. 8th at 11:00 a.m.at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 El Camino Real W., Mtn. View.
