Mae A. Burton

BURTON, Mae A. age 82, of Waynesville, passed away peacefully in hospital with her family at her side after protracted illness. Mae was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years Gerald Burton. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas and Clark Burton; a daughter-in-law Lucinda Napier and one grandson Cole Burton; her brother Dewey Acree; two sisters Kay South and Margaret Steinway and brother-in-laws Walter Steinway, Morton Burton and William Burton; sister-in-laws Darlene Burton, Phyllis Burton and Glenna Acree. And, numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday November 22nd at Woodland Cemetery Chapel. Mae was a long time businesswoman and owner of Kettering East where she encountered many friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mae's memory to a charity of your choice. Mae's family would like to offer special thanks to all of Mae's medical care givers for their years of help and compassionate care.
