The funeral for Joseph B. Gorrell, 76, who died Tuesday at his home on route No.4, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday from the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary. Burial place has not been decided.
He had been a resident of Topeka for the last thirty-seven years. He was born February 9, 1858, in New Jersey.
He is survived by his widow; a son, Walter Gorrell, and a daughter, Mary Gilbert, all of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hanley, Woodward, Okla., and Miss Rebecca Gorrell, Atchison.
