Services for Virginia Lee Zwieg, 67, who died in Wheatland on November 3, 1985 were held Wednesday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Christian Church with Reverend Chet Shaw officiating.

Born in Torrington, Wyoming on December 9, 1917. Virginia was the daughter of Luther and Maude Johnston Cook. When she was three, the family moved to Wheatland where they farmed northwest of town. She attended Wheatland schools, graduating fromhigh school with the Class of 1935. After graduation she worked in Penman's Variety Store, the hospital, and was a substitute mail carrier. She and Lester Zwieg were married January 8, 1938. She lived in Wheatland until the time of her death.

She was a member of the Farm Bureau Women's Club.

Besides her husband, Lester Zwieg of Wheatland, she is survived by two sons; Jim Zwieg of Denver and Bill Zwieg of Laramie; one brother, Kenneth Cook of Wheatland; one sister, Fern Adams of Kent, Washington; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon, and a sister, Frances Roll.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the First Christian Church.

Burial was in the Wheatland Cemetery.

Schrader-Prell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
