Alice Aaron, 95, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.
Funeral services will be at 10 am CT, Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jim Kingrey and Bro. James Haun the officiating clergy. Special music will be by the Blakey Quartet. Burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
She was born Tuesday, January 18, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Grace Stansberry Smith and the late Leslie Smith. She died Saturday, December 10, 2011, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 95 years, 8 months, and 22 days.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip R. Aaron.
She is survived by the following: Two daughters: Mary (Gary) Blakey, Indianapolis, IN; and Margaret (Craig) Parmerlee, Indianapolis, IN
Two grandchildren: Brandon Blakey, Jamestown, KY; and Janna Watt, Yulee, FL
She was a homemaker and a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Smith and Marvin Smith, and by one sister, Mary Flint. Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
