Anthony Adams
Was born in Kildare Co. Ireland, He later Immigrated to America with his friend Eugene Monagham in the late 1850's
they settled in Virginia City Nevada and worked in the local Mines. (They never married) Eugene was killed in a mining accident in the Ophir mine in May of 1877.
Almost 6 months to the day Anthony was killed at the same mine by a fall down the mine shaft on Nov. 11th 1877 at age 54. The two Irish pals are now buried together in the Catholic Section of the Virginia City Cemetery.
