Janell was a homemaker and had previously worked at Converse Café for 10 years. She was a member of South Marion Church of Christ and enjoyed babysitting for all of her grandchildren and attending all of their sport and school activities.

She was born in Athens, Alabama on March 30, 1937 to the late J.T. and Nellie M. (Hastings) Hogan. She married Vernon Pullum on May 28, 1955, and he survives. Janell was a homemaker and had previously worked at Converse Café for 10 years. Funeral Service will be at 1 pm on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, Indiana with brother-in-law, Cleabron Pullum officiating. Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
