Bernard J. Albers, 69, Menlo, died Sunday, August 21, 1994, at the Thomas County Care Center, Colby.
Mr. Albers was born June 7, 1925 in Thomas County and was a longtime resident of Menlo. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a road construction worker and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Grinnell.
Survivors include three daughters, Lucinda Lea Wieland of Tulsa, OK, Melinda Diane Wycoff of Little Rock, AR, and Bernita Hadley of Denver, three brothers, Arnold T. of Colby, Joseph G. of Colorado Springs, and Ralph of Oakley, seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
The funeral was held Wednesday, August 24, 1994 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Stuart officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery with military rites.
Memorials may be made to Thomas County Hospice.
