Maxine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four sons, Tony Ferrugia and wife Pat of Chesterfield, Mike Ferrugia and wife Kendra of Fulton, Chris Ferrugia and wife Kathryn of Indianapolis Ind. and Ed Ferrugia and wife Tiffany of Kearney, two daughters, Theresa Ferrugia and husband John Igleheart of Columbia, and Mary Ferrugia) Ltty and husband Bill of Dowingtown, PA. 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, her two sisters, Lorene Groesch of Springfield Il. and Dorothy McGaha of Wenatchee WA. and other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Frank Joseph Ferrugia, one daughter, Kathryn Ferrugia, one son, Frank Victor Ferrugia, one sister, Bernce Ferrugia and two brothers, Kenny and C.J. Abell.
Maxine was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spendng tie with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent much of her life as an active member of the St Peter's Catholic Church and School. She had many wonderful retired years travelng the country with her husband, she loved spending time in the yard and caring for her flower gardens.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10a.m. on Saturday May 5, 2012 at St Peter's Catholic Church. with Father Frank Bussmann officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8p.m. on Friday May 4, 2012 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
