Mrs. Dora Nelson, 74, well known Raymond resident, died Tuesday at Willapa Harbor Hospital. Mrs. Nelson was born August 31, 1889 at Lindsay, Nebraska, and has resided here since 1928. She was a member of the Raymond Rebekah Lodge and the Raymond Lady Elks.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur Nelson, of the family residence at 1124 Fowler Street; a daughter, Mrs. Fern James of San Jose, California; three sisters : Mrs. Herman Schmill of Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Elizabeth Jones of Columbus, Nebraska, and Mrs. Gladys Jones of Tacoma; a brother, Evan Jones of Tilden, Nebraska; four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Murphy Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Fern Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jack Berry, Earl Swindell, Frank Kolcz, Jerry Wicklund, Mike Johnson and Ed Lee.
