Court Reporter Dies In North Carolina
Joseph W. Reeve well known former court reporter and secretary to Georg Ade, died at Hendersonville, N. Carolina on Friday, where he and his family had gone for the benefit of his health. He was supposed to have contracted a mild case of Tuberculosis. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Reeve both deceased, and was born at Rensselaer, May 15 1894 and was married to Miss Ruth Higging of Kentland, July 14, 1924 who with two children, Edward 13 and Joan 12, survive. One brother, Leo and two sisters Mrs. Hazel Osborn of Lafayette and Mrs. Gladys Abbett of Indiana Harbor also survive. He was a member of the Christian Science Church, Masons and K of P lodges.
