Funeral services for Leonard Abbott, 66, retired farmer of the Red Oak Community of Lincoln County, were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with burial in the Wright Cemetery. Mr. Abbott died Sunday, June 23, in Lincoln County Hospital. He was a native of Lincoln Count and a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irma Bowen Abbott; two daughters, Mrs. Willie Higgs, Nice, France, and Mrs. Bobby Jones, Nashville; and three sons, Vaughn Abbott, Robert Abbott, and James Abbott, all of Nashville
