Marie Abrams, 85, of Brookings, passed away in Brookings on Aug. 30, 2012.
She was born Jan. 19, 1927, in Philadelphia, to Aretonia and Antonia (Luacarini) Chiarolonzo.
Marie worked in factories in the east before moving to Brookings in the early 1980s.
Marie was married to Dominic Scala for 10 years. She later married Herbert "Al" Abrams. They were married 40 years before his death in 2006.
Marie enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Micolta of Brookings; son Anthony Scala of Brookings; grandchildren Jorge D. Micolta of Philadelphia, Anthony Scala Jr. of Vancouver, Wash., and Ashley Scala of Brookings; brother Thomas Vallejo of Grants Pass; nieces and nephews Annette Cooley of Portland, Nadine Cleary and Christine Righetti of Brookings, and Tommy Vallejo III of Detroit, Mich.
