Fannola Berry Acree, 79, of Greensburg, Ky., died on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, in Bardstown, Ky. at Colonial Health and Rehab Center. Daughter of the late Abraham Berry and Bertha Lee Barrett Berry, she was born on April 12, 1922, and was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church.

Acree was a former schoolteacher in the Green County School System and a wholesale druggist representative. She was married to Cosby Acree on May 2, 1946, who preceded her in death on March 28, 1984. Survivors include two brothers, Ralph Berry of McDaniels, Ky., and Harold Berry of Louisville.

Funeral was at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28 at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Fry Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Arnold and the Rev. Steve James officiated. Pallbearers were Raymond Berry, Leo Wright, Richard Shuffett, Melvin Berry, Carl Deaton and Jim Christie.
