COWHERD & PARROTT FUNERAL HOME OBITUARY – 1963
Charles William Clark, 60, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 [1963] at his home in the Ebenezer Community of Green County. He is survived by his wife, Mary Atcher Clark. Other survivors are 2 sons, Equin Clark, New Albany, IN and James Clark, France; 1 daughter, Mrs. Juanith Pierce of Louisville; 3 stepsons, Harold Vertress, Radcliff, KY; Carl R. Vertress, Ft. Rucker, AL; and Norman Vertress, Fisherville, KY; 1 step-daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Helm of Louisville; 1 sister, Mrs. Perry Acree, Greensburg, 3 brothers, Leon and Lionel Clark, both of Greensburg, Hugh Clark, Louisville and 27 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Rev. V.A. Jones will officiate. Pallbearers will be Smith Rayburn, Leon Hinton, Willard Mitchell, Robert Buckner, Wilson Cox and William Wright.
