Adams, Adeline Elizabeth Burcham
Mrs. Elizabeth Deweese Adams, 87, of Clinton, died Monday July 26, at 2:25 p.m. at Union City Health Care Nursing Home.
She was a retired sales clerk and a member of Oakton Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James Robert Deweese of Clinton; two grandsons, Bill Deweese of Virginia and Mike Deweese of Clinton; a brother, John Briggs Burcham of Bronston, Ky,; a half-brother, Randall P. Burcham and a half-sister, Marie Beale both of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Carl Deweese; her second, Robert E. Adams; parents, John S. and Martha Briggs Burcham; two brothers Emmett and Elbert Burcham; and a half-sister, Margaret Hibbins.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 29, at 10:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton. Rev. Ricky Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
