Maurine Adams, 88, of Amarillo died Wednesday (May 17,2000). Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today in Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, with graveside service at 2:30 p.m. in Clayton Cemetery in Clayton, N.M. Survivors include her husband, her son, her daughters, her sister, 20 grandchildren 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sylvia Adams her son, Larry Adams and her grandson, David Knotts.
She was county clerk for Union County in Clayton, N.M. and a volunteer coordinator for the Red Cross.
