AGED 31 YEARS∼Rev. Philander Powers was the son of Oliver Powers and Elizabeth (Sprague) Powers Howland. He was the 1st husband of Caroline (Wiltse) Powers Emmons. Caroline died January 6, 1903. Rev. Powers was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Genesee (now Western New York) Conference 1837 F 1839.
