Ruby I. Maltby, age 90, of Apopka and formerly of Hastings died Thursday October 28, 1999 at Florida Living Nursing Center in Apopka.
The Green Cove Springs native was a long-time resident of Hastings, before moving to Apopka. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Hastings, where she was a member of the Choir and had been active with the Epworth League Youth Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Maltby.
She is survived by two sons, Billy D. Maltby of Ocoee, Florida and Raymond H. Maltby of Altamonte Springs, Florida; one daughter, Nancy Baker of Federal Point, Florida; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 1st at Oak Hill East Cemetery in Palatka.
