Henry C. West, 73, of Frankfort passed away at 4:35 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. He was born on April 10, 1940 in Wayne County, KY to Cecil & Ellmer (McDaniel) West. He married Mary R. Kidd in 1959 in Kentucky and she survives.

Mr. West attended school in Kentucky. He served in the US Army from 1963 to 1965 in Germany. He move to Frankfort in the early 1960's from Monticello, KY. He retired from the City of Frankfort as the Head of the Street Department. He also worked for Delmonte. Henry attended Bethel Bible Holiness Church in Frankfort and enjoyed golfing and hunting.

Friends may visit 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the funeral home. Brother Steven Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Behtel Bible Holiness Church or Gidions International with envelopes available at the funeral home.
Survived by his wife, Mary West of Frankfort, sister, Carrie Bates, and brother, Rex West both of Monticello, KY. He is preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
