Lula Johnson Aldridge was born Feb. 15, 1877 in Schley County, daughter of Lewis and Hattie Johnson. Her schooling was limited, but she and Napoleon used what they had to the best of their ability. She was a member of the Spring A.M.E. church. They reared six children: Alma, Boysie, Napoleon, Jr, Isaac, A. C. and Annie. Lula Alridge died 29 Nov. 1976 in Houston County and was buried in the Spring Hill Cemetery."
