Howard Hall age 83 of Dryden, VA was born in Harlan, KY on Wednesday, September 9, 1931 and passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Lee Health and Rehab in Pennington Gap, VA.He was a Veteran of the U.S. Airforce and had worked for the Chrysler Corporation. Howard had also been a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was of the Baptist Faith.He was preceded in death by one son John B. Hall, his parents Burley and Sudie Hall and four sisters Ethel Ridings, Alta Abner, Connie Blanken and Janice Burgin one brother Robert Hall .Howard is survived by his wife Myrna G. Hall, one son Greg Hall and wife, Phyllis of Appalachia, VA, two grandchildren Bradley Judson Hall and Cory Ryan Hall, one brother Ronnie Hall of Patlow, VA, two sisters Christine Edens of Dryden, VA and Ann Gilbert of Chesterfield, VA and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Tony Nunley officiating.Burial will follow at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA.Visitation will be from 12:00 noon Saturday until the time of the service.
