Robert Hall of Jonesville, Va. was born in Grays Knob, Ky. on Friday, June 24, 1938 and passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the Lee Regional Medical Center in Pennington Gap, Va. at the age of 71 years. He had been a resident of Jonesville, Va. his entire life.
Robert had retired from A T & T. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burley and Sudie Hall, three sisters Ethel Ridings, Alta Mae Abner and Connie Jean Blanken.
Robert is survived by three sons, Burley Hall of Jonesville, Va., Jimmy Hall and wife, Vicky of Pennignton Gap, Va. and Robert Hall and wife, Samantha of Jonesville, Va. Nine grandchildren, two brothers, Howard Hall and wife, Myrna of Dryden, Va., Ronnie Hall and wife, Pam of Partlow, Va. and three sisters, Janice Burgin of Pennington Gap, Va., Ann Gilbert and husband, Bob of Chesterfield, Va. and Christina Edens of Dryden, Va.
Military Service will be conducted by the Wise County Veterans Organizations and Army National Guard Honors Team at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, Va.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 PM for the service.
Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
