Ozene M. Adams, 84, of Fort Collins, died Saturday, April 22, 1995, at Poudre Valley Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Yeamans & Gordon Memorial Chapel in Akron. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at Allnutt Funeral Service, Goodrich Chapel. Burial will be at Cope Cemetery in Cope.
Ozene Adams was born June 30, 1910, in Green Forest, Ark., to James Buchanan Faulkner and Elizabeth Sally Linch. She graduated from high school in Enign, Kan., in 1928.
She married Herbert D. Adams on Oct. 8, 1928, in Kinsley, Kan. She was a homemaker. The couple farmed in Dodge City, Kan., area until March 1942 when they moved to Anton. They lived on the farm until 1968 when they moved to Fort Collins.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the Arickaree and Nighthawk clubs and was involved in various women’s groups. She loved to crochet, knit and do other handicrafts. She was an avid reader.
Survivors include a son, three daughters, two brothers, a sister, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren [survivors names omitted].
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, two brothers, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
