EVEA ABBOTT ALDERDING

WINAMAC — Evea Abbott Alberding, 81, Star City, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

She was born Jan. 25, 1908, in Winamac to George and Mary Rearick Rinebarger. She was married Sept. 19, 1926, in Winamac to Arthur Leroy Abbot, who died March 31,1975. She was married Jan. 5,1981, in Star City to Walter Alberding, who survives.

She was a lifelong resident of Pulaski County. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Winamac First Christian Church.

Also surviving are two sons, Donald Abbott, Winamac, and Robert Abbott, Star City; two sisters, Violet Conner, Rt. 3, Winamac, and Hazel Thomas, Frankfort; seven grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Frain Mortuary, with Kenneth Broad officiating. Burial will be in the Star City IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday in the mortuary.
