Fern Minta Abbott Hibbert, 94, born April 21, 1921 in Kansas to Burl Robert Sewell Abbott and Ethel May Hart, passed away May 28, 2015 in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm Sunday, May 31st at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO. Graveside to follow at 3:00 pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Fern went from welding wings on airplanes to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. She is survived by sons, Richard (Teresa) Hibbert, Daniel (Peggy) Headding, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Northland Shepherds Center, 4805 NE Antioch Rd., KC MO 64119 Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home & Cemetery, Dignity Memorial
