ADA — Services for Kenneth Noah Abbott, 81, Ada, are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Dan Cusher officiating. Burial follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Abbott died July 19, 2006, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1924, south of Ada, to Jourdan and Zona Smith Abbott. He attended school at Pecan Grove. Mr. Abbott was a mechanic and later was a heavy equipment repairman for Abbott's Equipment.

He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Jourdan Abbott, Rachell Aday, Barney Abbott, Lavada Mahan and Lillie Bradshaw.

Survivors include two daughters, Kendra VanCleef and Mary Fonnier, both of Pineville, La.; four grandchildren; three sisters, Myrtle Cooper, Carolyn Aday, both of Ada, and Mary Camden, Ariz.; and a brother, Monroe Abbott, Ada.

Bearers are Russell Aday, Vince Abbott, Jack Aday, David Abbott, Mark Abbott and Bob Dimambro.

Honorary bearers are Johnnie Boring, Elmo Fulton, Charles Richard, Chester Timmons and Olen Robbins.
