She was also preceded by her

Leonard Adams;

Brothers:
Atlee Carter,
Ora Carter,
Bill Carter,
Avery, and
Elbert Carter, as well as

Sisters:
Lorene McCarty,
Kathleen Williams,
Lucy Meek, and
Elba Fraley.

Evelena was a homemaker. She loved flowers and cats. Most of all she loved her family and loved her nieces and nephews as her own.

She is survived by a

Nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will sadly miss her.

Mrs. Adams was born January 15, 1929 in Elliott County, the daughter of the late Willis Kirk and Lula Brown Carter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Adams, brothers: Atlee Carter, Ora Carter, Bill Carter, Avery and Elbert Carter as well as sisters,: Lorene McCarty, Kathleen Williams, Lucy Meek and Elba Fraley.
She was a homemaker. She loved flowers and cats. Most of all she loved her family and loved her nieces and nephews as her own.
She is survived by a brother, Glen Carter of Sandy Hook, KY. Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY with ministers Alton Norman and Greg McCarty officiating. Burial will be at the Elliott County Memory Gardens. Friends may call 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home.
