LAKE PROVIDENCE - Funeral services for Jessie C. Aaron, 77, of Lake Providence will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Baptist Church near Lake Providence with the Rev. Paul Sullivan officiating.
Burial will be in Providence Memorial Cemetery in Lake Providence under direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence.
He died at 11 a.m. Thursday in East Carroll Parish Hospital after a short illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rosalie Aaron of Lake Providence; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Tobias of Minwoka, Ill.; one son, Sgt. Thomas G. Aaron of Ft. Hood, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Travis of Lake Providence; two brothers, Edward Aaron of Biloxi, Miss. and Roy Aaron of Whittier, Calif.; one stepbrother, Tom Turnage of Shreveport; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
