Enlisted June 1, 1781, while a resident of Guilford Co., North Carolina. Served as private in Captain William Little's Company, Col. Dixons's North Carolina Regt., and in Captain Rudolph's Co., Col. Lees' Regt. Was in the battles of Eutaw Springs and Dorchester, South Carolina and was discharged June 1, 1792. Pension claim S. 32089. Buried Bloomfield Cemetery. Government marker.
