Teresa was a 1982 graduate of Taylor University. She then taught for 33 years at Gallatin County Schools in Junction, IL. She was a member of the Illinois State Teachers Association. She was the Head Coach for Girls Basketball and Girls Softball in Illinois. She was also a Massage Therapist in Evansville.
She is survived by her father, Paul D. Nussbaum of Berne; a sister, Barbara J. (Rick) Minnich of Decatur; 2 nephews, Spencer Aalbergtse and Joel (Erin) Minnich both of Noblesville; 2 nieces, Alysha Watchman of Rochester and AnnDee (Dan) Reiff of Goshen; 7 great nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister Jackie Aalbergtse.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, with calling 1 hour prior from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Joel Minnich.
Memorials may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
