DONNA LOU NUSSBAUM, 78,of Berne, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at Swiss Village Nursing Center, Berne. Born Feb. 12, 1931, in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late A.D. "Bill" and Veda J. (Andrews) Crist. She married Paul D. Nussbaum on June 11, 1950. She was a homemaker and secretary at Adams County Co-op, and a member of Monroe United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Paul D. Nussbaum of Berne; two daughters, Mrs. Rick (Barbara) Minnich of Decatur and Teresa Nussbaum of Shawneetown, Ill.; two step-brothers, Robert L. Haggard of Bluffton and David S. Haggard of Decatur; two step-sisters, Carol Cashman of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Max (Joyce) McNeal of Springfield, Ohio; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie Aalbregtse; and one sister, Diane Morgan. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Swiss Village Auditorium. Rev. Keith Rupp and Rev. Anita Rediger officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Auditorium. Burial in Ray Cemetery, Monroe, Ind.
