Isaac H. Teegarden, age 74, died as the result of a two-car accident just west of West Fargo on Highway 10 Wednesday, October 9th. He was born in Ray County, Missouri, on August 25, 1889, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Teegarden, and grew to manhood at Lawson, Missouri. On August 17, 1913, he married Etta Matilda Shelton. They farmed in Missouri until 1945 when they came to Hunter, where they have farmed since. Funeral services will be held at the Hunter Methodist Church Friday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. A. Walfred Rudquist of Harwood officiating. A second service will be held in the Baptist Church at Orrick, Mo., at 2:30 Sunday. Interment will be in the Lawson, Mo. cemetery. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons: Frances, Mrs. L.N. Stockton of Richmond, Mo.; Minnie, Mrs. Byron Conyers of Orrick, Mo.; Mary E., Mrs. Jim Dugan of Orrick, Mo.; Woodford R. Teegarden of Hunter and Virgil E. Teegarden of Hunter. He leaves three brothers and eight sisters, twenty-two, grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, one daughter, and nine grandchildren. Lindsey Funeral Home of Page has charge of the arrangements in Hunter; and the Gowing funeral Home of Orrick, Mo. has charge at Orrick.
Active bearers will be Earl Amel, Pete Ottesen, William Folk, Herbert Murch, Jeffrey Norquest, and Kenneth Brown. Honorary bearers will be E.C. Moen, Paul Brayton, Kerny Dickson, William Moen, Carl H. Howells and T.W. Delf. A second service will be held in the Baptist Church at Orrick, Mo., at 2:30 Sunday, with Rev. Earl Clemons officiating. Interment will be in the Lawson, Mo. cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Gooch, Luman Offutt, Maurice Hall, Raymond Stockton, Robert Stockton and Woodrow Battagler. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Freeman, Dan Tucker, Fred Gryder, Melvin Hall, E.P. Legg, and Ben Majewski.
