Died 4:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 1988, at Riverwest Medical Center, Plaquemine. He was 63, a native of St. James and resident of Plaquemine. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Howell Champagne. Burial in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Survived by six sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Loraine) Haydell, Charleston, S.C., Mrs. Melba Langlois, Harahan, Mrs. Roy (Verina) Gulotta, Plaquemine, Mrs. Davis (Helena) Boudreaux, Metairie, Mrs. Raymond (Kathleen) Chauvin, Edgard, and Ms. Marjorie Abadie, Vacherie; and a brother, Francois Louis Abadie, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Alice Tregre Abadie.
