Helma Brandt, 64, 500-20th Street N.W. Minot, North Dakota, died Wednesday, July 12, 1989 in a Minot Hospital. Her funeral was Saturday, July 15th at 11:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church with burial in the Rosehill Memorial Park Cemetery, both in Minot.
Helma Luverne Peterson was born the first of four children to Gordon Oliver & Nadine (Harmon) Peterson. She was born on January 2, 1925 at the family home in Egg Creek Township, McHenry County, North Dakota (near Granville). She was reared and educated in the Granville area and married Harley Brandt at Minot. They made their home in Minot where Harley was associated with the I. Keating Furniture in the sales department for many years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Miont and the church ladies circle.
She is survived by her husband, sons, Wesley of Minot and Russell of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren; sisters, Inez Serr and Hazel Wegener both of Minot. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Gerald Peterson.
Visitation was held at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
