LAURA E. ACREE, 79, of Franktown died March 31 in Avondale, Ariz. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Andrews Caldwell Gibson Funeral Home, Castle Rock, with burial at Franktown Cemetery.
Mrs. Acree was born Laura E. Wheeler in Franktown on Sept. 22, 1917. She married Ivan Alfred Arfsten.
He died, and later she married W. Lloyd Acree, 1957. She was a clerk at Franktown Mercantile and Bob's Food Market.
She retired in 1969 as an assistant post master in Franktown.
Survivors include son Ardell of Arizona; sister Doris Johnston of Castle Rock; brother Bud Wheeler of Franktown; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
