Son of Vernon and Leona Smith, he passed away at Regent Park Nursing Home in Holyoke, Colorado August 12, 2018. He was born July 18, 1928 east of Holyoke. He married Faye Martin Nov 15, 1952 and they had 2 daughters Debra and Verna. Later, he married Carolyne "Betty" Martin in 1962 and had 2 children, Susan and John.
He is survived by his daughters and their husbands; and his son; two sisters and their husbands; one brother and his wife; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Cremation was requested and no services were held. A family inurnment will be held at a later date in the Haigler Cemetery. Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of of arrangements. Wray Gazette.
